Why Villeroy & Boch
Ceramics since 1748
Founded in 1748 and still based at the Old Abbey in Mettlach, the brand marked its 275th anniversary in 2023. Few bathroom makers have worked with ceramic for as long.
TitanCeram, thin and strong
TitanCeram blends feldspar, quartz, clay and titanium dioxide into a ceramic strong enough for very thin walls and sharply defined edges, as fine as 6 mm in the Finion washbasins.
Quaryl baths
Quaryl, the brand's own material of 60% quartz and sanitary acrylic, is non-porous, impact-resistant and warm to the touch. It allows baths with precise edges and slim side walls.
Hygiene that saves water
The CeramicPlus surface makes water bead and run off, so dirt and limescale struggle to adhere. TwistFlush WCs rinse the bowl with a water vortex using 3 or 4.5 litres.
