Why Bisazza

Glass mosaic since 1956

Renato Bisazza founded the company in Alte, Vicenza, in 1956 to make 20 × 20 mm coloured glass tesserae. It is still based in Montecchio Maggiore, Vicenza.

Designers of record

Bisazza lists 40 designers on its own site, among them Alessandro Mendini, Marcel Wanders, Jaime Hayon, Patricia Urquiola, Studio Job and Fornasetti, alongside its in-house Bisazza Design Studio.

Made for water

Bisazza specifies its glass mosaics for showers, swimming pools, spas and outdoor walls. Opus Romano, in sintered glass enamel, is rated for high-traffic public floors indoors and out.

Fitted to the room

Mosaic decorations are sold by the square metre and adapted to the surface, and their colours can be changed. The Bisazza Design Studio advises on each project.
